Configure DNS Forwarding for Top 10 Cloud Services

This guide explains how to configure DNS forwarding to Securd DNS (142.202.107.1, 142.202.107.2) on the top 10 cloud services.

Note: Before setting up forwarding, make sure to Configure a Static IP Site to Use Securd DNS.


1. Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Route 53

Access: AWS Management Console → Route 53

  • Create or select a hosted zone.
  • Go to Rules, create a Resolver rule.
  • Set rule type to Forward.
  • Enter:
    • 142.202.107.1
    • 142.202.107.2
  • Associate the rule with desired VPCs.

2. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Cloud DNS

Access: Google Cloud Console → Network Services → Cloud DNS

  • Select or create a DNS zone.
  • Under DNS Forwarding, add a new rule.
  • Set forwarding targets:
    • 142.202.107.1
    • 142.202.107.2
  • Define applicable networks and scope.

3. Microsoft Azure - Azure DNS

Access: Azure Portal → Azure DNS

  • Choose or create a DNS zone.
  • Go to DNS Forwarding.
  • Add forwarding targets:
    • 142.202.107.1
    • 142.202.107.2
  • Apply to selected scopes.

4. IBM Cloud - Internet Services

Access: IBM Cloud Dashboard → Internet Services

Access: Rackspace Control Panel → Networking → Cloud DNS

  • Select or add a domain.
  • Configure forwarding DNS servers:

10. Heroku - DNS via External Provider

Access: Heroku Dashboard → Application → Settings

  • Go to Domains and Certificates.
  • Use a third-party DNS provider to set:
    • 142.202.107.1
    • 142.202.107.2
  • Update DNS settings at your registrar as needed.
